3-in-1 LED light set: Beam, B-Eye and strobe – BoomToneDJ

The BoomToneDJ StarBeam is a 3-in-1 LED light set designed to create dynamic light shows at parties, DJ sets, weddings, concerts, bars and corporate events. It combines a Beam effect, a B-Eye effect and a strobe in a single unit, complemented by a peripheral RGB LED strip that adds an extra visual dimension to the projector.

The B-Eye section is fitted with four 10 W 4-in-1 CREE LEDs, whilst the Beam effect utilises ten 10 W 4-in-1 CREE LEDs. This combination allows the simultaneous production of a dense central light source and a ring of narrow beams, which are particularly striking when used in conjunction with a smoke machine or hazer. The StarBeam can thus quickly create aerial effects suitable for dance floors, stages, DJ booths or installations on totem poles.

To enhance the rhythmic effects, the StarBeam also features 5 high-brightness 5 W amber LEDs dedicated to the strobe function. Its frequency is adjustable up to 20 flashes per second, allowing for everything from subtle light pulses to more intense strobe sequences synchronised with the music.

Surrounding the light engine, a strip comprising 98 0.2 W RGB LEDs creates a colourful illuminated outline and adds an extra visual dimension to the unit. This combination of different LED modules allows for a wide range of atmospheres and effects without the need to install several different projectors.

One of the BoomToneDJ StarBeam’s key features is its infinite rotation. This enables a continuous sequence of movements and changes of direction, effectively filling the space with moving beams. This feature is particularly useful for livening up a dance floor or creating circular effects around a DJ booth.

The StarBeam can operate via DMX512 across 13 channels for precise control from a console or lighting controller. It also features automatic, musical and master-slave modes, making it easy to use without a dedicated lighting control room or to synchronise multiple units during a larger installation.

Designed for regular use at events, the StarBeam features high-definition lenses and a thermal management system combining convection cooling, air cooling and intelligent temperature control. Its 4-digit digital display makes it easy to adjust settings directly on the unit, whilst its powerCON power supply ensures a reliable connection during performances.
