600 W RMS 2.1 sound system with a 15" subwoofer and 2 satellite speakers – Mac Mah
The Mac Mah Trium 1200 is a 2.1 three-way sound system designed for DJs, presenters, musicians, organisations and event professionals. Comprising a 15-inch active subwoofer and two passive satellite speakers, it delivers a total power output of 600 W RMS and up to 1,200 W peak. This comprehensive setup makes it easy to provide sound for parties, weddings, entertainment events, bars, small stages and professional events.
At the heart of the system is its 15-inch active subwoofer, which delivers deep, impactful bass frequencies. Its Class D amplifier provides 400 W RMS for the subwoofer, supplemented by 2 × 100 W RMS for the satellite speakers. As all the amplification is built directly into the subwoofer, no additional external amplifier is required.
Each satellite is fitted with two 5-inch drivers combined with a 1-inch compression driver. These handle the midrange and treble frequencies, whilst the subwoofer focuses on the low frequencies. The overall frequency response of 35 Hz to 20 kHz ensures balanced sound reproduction for both music and speech.
The Trium 1200 features a DSP with five equalisation presets, allowing you to quickly adapt the sound output to the application and venue. The subwoofer’s crossover frequency is adjustable from 40 to 200 Hz, whilst a 0°/180° phase selector and an independent subwoofer level control allow you to fine-tune the bass response to suit your setup.
To make playing music easier, the system features Bluetooth 5.3 as well as a built-in USB audio player. It can therefore receive music directly from a smartphone, tablet or USB stick, making it particularly practical for mobile events, entertainment or set-ups that do not always require an external mixing desk.
Its comprehensive range of connections also allows for the connection of various professional sources. The subwoofer features two microphone inputs via XLR/6.35 mm jack combo sockets with independent level control and echo effect, a stereo line input, a 3.5 mm mini-jack auxiliary input, and Mix Out outputs via XLR. The two satellite speakers connect directly to the subwoofer via SpeakON outputs.
Designed for use at events, the Trium 1200 also incorporates a limiter as well as protection against short circuits and overheating. The satellite speakers feature a standard 35 mm mounting socket, allowing them to be easily mounted on speaker stands. Two 6-metre SpeakON cables are supplied to connect the satellite speakers directly to the subwoofer.
