A few tips to help you prepare properly and ensure your HOLI party is a guaranteed success.
THE VENUE:
Outdoors is best: on the beach, in a garden, in the snow – the possibilities are endless! In fact, the Holi festival is traditionally celebrated in the streets of India to mark the arrival of spring.
You can also use Holi powder indoors as it is non-flammable and doesn’t stain surfaces. However, bear in mind that Holi powder is very fine and you’ll need to be prepared for a thorough clean-up.
WHAT TO WEAR:
To make the colours stand out as much as possible at your event, wearing white is the best option!
The colour from the powder washes out in a standard machine wash on cotton garments. On synthetic fabrics, some coloured residue may remain on the clothes.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
Although harmless to health, we particularly advise people who wear contact lenses to wear protective goggles.
In the event of irritation to the skin, eyes or mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
A good shower, a good shampoo and you’ll be as good as new! Pop your clothes in the washing machine as usual and that’s the end of it!
OUTDOOR SURFACES AND GREEN SPACES:
Just give them a good hosing down to easily restore them to their original condition.
If you’re a local authority, a sweep vehicle is still the most effective option.
INDOORS:
Ventilate as much as possible, vacuum up the Holi powder with an industrial hoover or clean with an automatic floor scrubber.
